That's actually very good, and very well done. To my surprise, those aren't parodies.

To be honest, I hate it...flat out. Good Musicianship, just not the style. To each is on though!

Thanks, Jeff. I was reluctant to listen to these because of the band's self-deprecating name, but I really like this sort of Aerosmith meets the Beatles approach. In a previous thread here, I argued that the Beatles' music "transcends stylistic boundaries." These songs lend themselves nicely to a heavy rock sound, replete with blazing solos and scorching wah pedal work. It just goes to show that you can do anything with the Beatles' music, and that it will be part of our zeitgeist forever.

All the musicians on these recordings are top notch guys and I feel they do mighty justice to these songs; the songs were very much well thought out and arranged to show the seriousness in these endeavors.

As mentioned above, no parodies, here.

The best cover of 'Day 'Tripper' is by Ocean Colour Scene.
I know most in the US probably won't have heard of them, but they're a great British band who wear their 60's influences proudly on their sleeves.
They were also good pals with Oasis back in the hey day of 'Britpop'.
Here's them doing it with the Gallagher brothers back in the day:

And here's a more up to date video of them playing it live:

Anyone in the US who likes British 60's music will love OCS

Well, in terms of "best cover" in more ways than one...
