Help pricing a Rick

Hello all,

Looking for help getting a general idea of what my 330 is worth.

Its in almost mint condition all org parts from the factory and as you can see in Seagreen with the silver case.

Not sure of its worth because of the unusual color as well as the toster top pickups which seem to be non standard and the tail piece.

Any advice welcome.

Thanks

The first problem pricing your 330 is that it isn't a 330.

Great what is it then?

its not a 360 the top is not rounded but squared off and in fact bound.

360V64, six string version of 360/12V64, or today, the 360/12C63

360 V64 as stated above. It is the original body shape of the 360. The binding never appears on 330's nor the inlays.

360 "Old/Original Style" ("OS"), also known as "WBBS" ("White Binding, Both Sides"), and "WB" (With/White Binding), or "Double Bound" 360/360 Double Bound.

There you have it!

This is a rare guitar. Rick discontinued the 360V64 6-string model in 2001. The finish color of your guitar is Sea Green, which was the Rick color of the year (COY) for 2000 (this finish color could only be ordered in 2000). Sea Green is a rare finish color on any Rick model.

The only other COY that could have been on a 360V64 model would be Desert Gold, which was the 2001 COY. I haven't seen any 360V64 models in Desert Gold (has anyone?). There is one other 360V64 on the RRF Register in Sea Green. So you've got a rare bird -- one of a few 360V64 models finished in a RIC COY.

Value? I'd say at least $2500 if not more, and it could be a lot more.

I dunno, I think that's about it; maybe a little more, even for the unusual color, which is gorgeous, btw. . . :D

If you don't need to sell it, I'd say keep it, b/c the market's not all that great right now so you might not get your price.

Guys thanks for the info, Guess I really didn't know what I had then.

I had no idea what the worth would be as I don't know much about Ricks!

Welcome to the forum! There are a lot of great people here. :)

Very cool Rick. When you have the chance, please indulge us with more and detailed photos! :D

I've seen a 12 string 360 V64, and other models of Sea Green Ricks, but I think that's the first six string SG 360V64 I've seen.

Cheers,

Paul
