Just did the dreaded string change on my 360/12 and my B strings volume is considerably higher than the G and E strings surrounding them.

When strummed unplugged, the volume balance across all strings is perfect so it has got to be something in the pickups. This guitar does not come with adjustable polepieces. If I lower the entire right side of the pickup, then the E strings volume will drop. That won't help. What to do?

I am using the standard Ric gauge .42 - 10s. The B strings are .13s. Will dropping the gauge on the B strings help solve this problem? Is there something else I can try?

Appears that effect in every PU selector position?

How was it before restringing? (And do You know the gauges of the old strings?)

I have the right gauge on. The previous strings had the high Es with too low volume, now I get the Bs too loud. I know any guitar with a wound G the B will always appear louder. This seems to happen to all my guitars, but never as noticebale as on my Ric. I've played the guitar the past few days and am living with it. Picking a bit harder on the high Es, softer on the Bs... The volume is unbalanced but it is what it is. I put Curt Mangan strings on her and I do like them...except for those Bs.
