I guess this is the best place to post this. Does anyone have a close up image of the "... painted" TRC by Tony Dudzik at Pickguardian? Is it reversible?
I had Tony make me a custom upper guard for my 360 and was thinking it'd be neat to have him do that and then have the TRC painted to match (light silver probably) but I am not sure.
Any help appreciated.
JKC
PS I just had full width inlays done by Paul W. and am waiting on the shipment in. Will try to remember to post PICs when they get here. A pair of 360s in JetGlo.

A six and a twelve?
Considering gold guards, yes?

Re: Pickguardian
Here's one I used to have. It is the original white one with raised letters painted gold to match a pickguard I also used to have.

Re: Pickguardian
Thanks, Paul. That is helpful. Looks very nice. Did you ever regret doing that or did it turn out like you planned.
I trust Pick Guardian but he is doing something to the TRC that the raised letter design didn't intend or contemplate (kinda like changing the color on a car), so I was just curious if the application turned out OK.
I was thinking of doing the upper guard in silver and having the TRC painted to match. He's got some images of a really cool vintage silver that has some creamy color in it, if that makes sense.

Re: Pickguardian
Silver is super cool. I picked up a silver Glen Frey TRC and had some silver guards made to match, but I don't know which guitar I'm going to install the set on.

Hey Man,
Can you post some PICs of the Glenn Frey TRC and the guards? I am assuming that TRC is back painted or silk screened or whatever you call it... Correct?
Also, my 360s are arriving tomorrow. (Full Width Inlays, Shaved Headstock). I'll try to get photos and upload or send them to someone who can. Warning, both were ridden hard and put away wet and I told Paul W. not to work on that. So they should look like working class Ricks with neat features. These are not case queens and not for the weak at heart. Finish checks aplenty. Just saying.
