'72-style 4001 saddle intonation adjustment screws

The head slots on at least one of the intonation screws on my -72 Azure is getting a little too close to stripping out for my liking; they're not there yet, but I'd like to be prepared, just in case.
Does anyone know where I can get some '72-style saddle adjustment screws ? I have several recent 4003 ones but as many will know they're too long. If I could get them with allen key slots instead of phillips even better. Alternatively if someone can suggest a good way of cutting them (neatly) to the correct length with the absolute basic tools that might be an option. Please bear in mind I am to metal work what Audley Harrison is to boxing.
