could not believe my eyes, but there it was. i believe lake was not playing bass at this time as he did not play but only sing on their second album before joining ELP.

as fripp said..."there was a revolving door in crimso as far as members went" , and i'm not versed in the early roster of the band, so this bassist is a question mark for me. i thought it might be giles. anyone know for sure ?

That does not look like JC, to me, going by any early photos I have of him (in the Prologue album).
