Hi Everyone,

I moved my post here from the Guitars Forum. I have a 2002 360/12. I noticed what appears to be a small neck joint crack and repair on the high E side of the board. The fretboard on that side does appear to be raised every so slightly. Ken Joseph (ken_j) thought this might be glue that crept up from the joint. In the second image you can see alot of excess glue in the pickup well. I was wondering if this is evidence of prior repair work before the guitar came into my life.

It looks to me like the neck was repaired and showed some space on the treble side (WOW. That's a lot of Titebond!), so the external joint was filled with some sort of filler, not very well I might add.

How does it play? Does it stay in tune? If there are no functional issues, all that can be said is that your guitar is not perfect, and you may have paid a bit too much for it...

Ah nuts... The guitar plays great and stays in tune. I probably did pay too much then. The repair wasn't immediately obvious until I looked more closely. I wish I knew about the Forum before I got the guitar, though I do love it all the same! Thanks for the reading, Paul!
