a '73 with small inlays and grovers...probably has checker with that headstock key placement pattern ???

Very hard to see, but I can't find any telltales of CB, perhaps Ron O'Keefe with his super magnifier (re: a different thread where-in he was able to read the pot codes from a '60 Rick guitar) can check for us.

I am not a Donny fan so that really caught me by surprise. Now Marie..............that's a whole different story.
Btw I reckon that's a terrible song that you posted. Not my favourite band of brothers that's for sure. The Bee Gees make them look like amateurs.

I was surprised that there was a tiny gap in your encyclopaedic knowledge of '60s and '70 music Brian - I never actually thought you'd be an Osmonds fan as such... though stranger things have happened!

Alright, SOMEONE had to do it.
I just posted the pic and question to Donny Osmond's Facebook page.
Hopefully, he will respond and possibly shed some light on that bass!
