Going to St. Paul, MN

Okay, in a sort of complicated to explain way, my mother and I are going to St. Paul, MN next week for a her-side-of-the-family reunion Thanksgiving, all paid for by her mother. While I'm there, I plan to visit Dave's Guitar Shop. I know for a fact many of our members have bought from Dave's, but has anyone actually visited the store? In 2009, I helped Dave find a '30s Stella 12-string similar to the one used by Leadbelly. I asked him if I should ever come to his store, would he let me play any of the guitars on his 3rd floor private collection. He said he didn't normally let people, but for me, he'd make an exception. The *ONLY* guitars I plan to play are his 362 double-neck and his prized April 1965 Rose Morris 1993/12 12-string. In that email, I told him I planned to play the 1993 and he replied, "You have a good taste in instruments because I really like that one, too". However, I don't know if it'll even come close to Collin's '64 1993 that has the thinnest top and neck I've ever played. We shall see.
Any forumites in the St. Paul area? Any other good dealers there besides Dave's?

Jake,
Make sure you also go to Willie's. They always have some new and used/vintage Rickenbackers around. Next door is a great little cafe too that is famous for cheeseburgers or something fattening and very tasty (been a few years since I was there but I do remember having a great meal of something good, my nephew knew it well).

Jake,
I am told by my Twin Cities nephew that a visit to Willie's should also include the very nearby Snuffy's Malt Shop. This is apparently the place where I made a large home-made malt, fries and a burger disappear after my outing at Willie's.
Willie's also has a good amp selection. Also, if you like ice hockey, the Minnesota Wild play at 3 p.m. on the 25th. If you're going to Minnesota, you might as well take in a hockey game. Standing room tickets are pretty cheap compared to others.... maybe $50.
Have fun!

Nah. Between juggling the family and whatnot, there was hardly any time. I would've loved to have seen all your consignments at My Music Store, Mitch.
