Janglebox Issue

So I changed the battery in our Janglebox for a gig yesterday and I discovered that it no longer works. I tried two other batteries and didn't get any improvement. I did, however, get the light to go on for a split second, so I'm thinking there's an issue with the power connection... Any input? (No pun intended.) Would this be an easy fix for someone who know how to use a soldering iron? Thanks.

I have a bad battery clip on my 381JK

, so "I feel your pain"

. My problem was easy to diagnose because one the terminations on the clip actually broke off. I haven't looked at my Janglebox, but if the connection of the battery clip to the circuit board is accessible, you could check for continuity between the clip termination and the corresponding connection on the circuit board to confirm that it's the battery clip.

I'd send a PM to Steve (janglebox) and see if he can offer you a factory repair. You may be under warranty?

I have zero experience with Janglebox pedals, but if they are anything like other effect boxes, the input jack doubles as the on/off switch. Maybe it's a bad contact in the jack. Couldn't hurt to give it a good dose of contact cleaner, could it?
