This is a more basic version of the Rubman Aquabass I completed three years back. It doesn't have inlays, but the black binding is a dramatic touch. This bass was very well-used when I started on it , but lots of sanding and filling took care of the maple, and an aqua base coat with cobalt pearl shading, turned it into a one-of-a-kind instrument!

I was hoping that Paul, in his advancing years , would have forgotten which Jeff the bass belonged to.
