Hello, I'm new to the forum so please forgive me if this has been answered multiple times. I have a beautiful 660/6 in Blueburst and I love the Ric case. Who manufactures the newer Ric cases? I would like to know if that same style case would be available for a Telecaster. I like the latches on these cases much better than the latches you find on G&G Fender tweed.

I know you don't like G&G, but they manufacture the silver tolex cases (originally black form-fit until 1989) that come with the C and V series and some signature models (such 325C64, 360/12C63, 350V63, 381V69 6 and 12). The vintage cases came as an option until 2006, but that year, each guitar was assigned it case. Modern/standard models received a black molded case that is made by SKB.

In short, if it's black and molded, it was made by SKB.
