I note on the Allans/Billy Hyde website that they now stock Rickenbacker.
One wonders whether RIC have appointed a distributor here or there is some official arrangement between RIC and the stockist. I guess they could be buying them from Rickenbacker Asia if that isn't the case.
Anyways, the prices are pretty bloody frightening!!
325V64 - $6699
330 - $3799
360C/1263 - $6999
4003 - $3999
Don't think I'll be throwing my credit card at any of those!!
Might pop in at the weekend and see what they've got in stock.

OK Scotty..... let's work it out. What's the retail price of a 330 over there?

Ok. Average price for a New 330 in the UK is
£1399-£1499.
3,799.00 AUD = 2,485.75 GBP

OK you win BUT that is just laughable really surprises me that some guitars are so outrageously overpriced, then again it surprises me more when they are sold.....

These would have come from Rickenbacker Asia. We still don't have a direct Australian distributor and won't, unfortunately, until the supplies are better. I've also said I'm not going to appoint one until I've visited them all there in person. It seems to me that that will take a month of my life to do and I don't have that kind to time to spare . . . yet!

Thanks, John. That explains the prices.
No probs..... when you're ready to come over here we'll make sure we've got some fresh prawns to throw on the barbie.
