15,000 Instruments In The Register
I am proud to say that we have over 15,000 instruments in the Rickenbacker Register. It has taken us nearly 15 years to reach this landmark. I want to thank all who have taken the time to contribute from around the world. Ron O'Keefe and Gil Disatnik please take a bow. Brian Morton has also been a steady contributor along with Joey Vasco and Tony Cabibe. There are many who helped pull the backlog of data from the ashes including Kris Lyons. There is so much that has gone on behind the scenes in making this possible. The gallery and the pricelist are invaluable to those who are interested in the history of these fine instruments. Thanks also goes out to RIC who have added their expertise when discussing the history and production of Rickenbackers. Finally thanks goes out to John Williams who started this whole project by selling me his 350 Liverpool in the first place. Please accept my apology for those whose names I have forgotten over the years.

And just think, I'm the owner of 1/15000th of that collection.
Re: 15,000 Instruments In The Register
Well, I haven't added mine yet, so at some point I'll help boost the figure. Great job on this. Very impressive, indeed.
Re: 15,000 Instruments In The Register
This truly is a milestone. Congrats, Peter. It'll just keep growing every day.
I'm lucky I have contributed the two models I've own, two models I've previously owned, and found a few collected items.

Re: 15,000 Instruments In The Register
Dalia asked me just the other evening how many instruments were in the Register. I told her that I thought it was "about 8,000". Boy, was I off.
Only 26 Sea Greens last time I checked...time to add one more!

That is very cool indeed. Anyone know how many have been made over the course of the last 80 years?

About to add a new Jetglo 4003, after "Santa" drops it off in a couple of weeks. That means I have 2/15,000 of the collection.

Ron: We built this Register one instrument at a time, line by line and photo by photo. Thanks for your contribution.

Re: 15,000 Instruments In The Register
Yes it is cool to see how far it has come...
It grows by about 6 to 10 entries a day on average. So (on average again) we keep adding 3400 plus instruments every year... We should be up to 30,000 in 4 years time!!
Many thanks to Gil for the programing - especially the feature that allows us to grab the images so easily!! That has made my life much easier - and adding CI's much faster...
If only we can track down some more 1970s 620s to add...
When i started adding entries there was only Dan's 1973 JG. Now there are 12 of em...
One day I hope to add the 73/74 BG 620 that the guy from the Bay City Rollers played...
