It came to day and it is still defrosting so I didn't play it yet.I just took a quick look to make sure it wasn't broken.

Thanks Tony! I have just gotten it today and I had to let it defrost but all and all I am really happy with my purchase.I think The parts alone has to be worth the $710 I paid for it.

The neck pickup is a vintage Gibson T top humbucker



Bridge pickup is a 70s DiMarzio Superdistortion



The Vibrato tailpiece is a Bowen Handle



The tuners are vintage Gibson machines from a Les Paul Custom(?) and the tone knobs are from a Les Paul too.



Put them all together and it still sounds like a Rickenbacker but these pickups are loud and love the Rawk!

Did your son ever take up the 650? That would be perfect with a nice comfy wide fretboard for your bass fingers!

I wish Jdog, he sold it to pay for some car repairs. Unfortunately, that old Town Car is requiring more and more work each year.
We're trying to get it to hold together just one more year of Med School. It died coming here today, we had to go and fetch him.

The ONE thing I asked for this Christmas is that Rocksmith Gutiar game. All I have is that cheapo Peavey Generation tele guitar. I'd really like to get something REAL (I paid $125.00 for it a few years ago) to learn on.
