Yes indeed good sirs, it was.
I tried it with gold plastic, just placed on last night...maybe, just not sure.

Mark: Another Rickenbacker corker. Thanks for posting these exquisite photos. Such a beautiful grain and finish.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Just one more piece of evidence that people did way too many drugs in the '70s.
Jangle, Chime & Twang.

Thanks Peter, my pleasure.admin wrote:Mark: Another Rickenbacker corker. Thanks for posting these exquisite photos. Such a beautiful grain and finish.
I can tell you I was very happy to see that flame and grain come through when I removed the brown top surface, but couldn't believe that someone would cover it up like they did.

I found this thread while searching for 'swirl-x' as I'd like to use it on my Jetglo 4003. Just wanted to say, what a beautiful guitar and amazing piece of work!

Really nice job! It must have been fun to do. Thank you for the pictures. They are extremely helpful since I am restoring a 67 which someone had installed early Gibson humbuckers (not pafs, but just after). The top has been horribly chopped into to do the install and I had no idea what the top was supposed to look like - Now I do!! yea! Much fiddly woodwork and painting/staining to do but at least I know what it is supposed to be. Thanks again!
