2011 was year of personal highs and some very low, lows for me (not talking about the sound coming out of a bass amp either). The past few weeks have been a roller-coaster ride right here on the forum. I hope everything settles down and we all end on a high note for the remaining of this year as well as the start of next year.
I wish everyone Happy Holidays, which ever one it is that they celebrate and all the best in the coming year.
Our fellow forumite and paisano from Italy, Mario Polisena made this internet card for us on the RRF a couple of years ago out of some avatars that I'd made for several forumites from avatars they had at the time. A few forumites contributed their own. I'm sure Mario would not mind me posting this again. This card is a special reminder that this forum is about Rickenbacker discussion, fun, info, friendships and peace.

Happy whatever you choose to celebrate! After all, it's what we all love and can accomplish in life that counts, and in this group, most of that is related to music and Ricks. And there's nothing more wonderful than music and Ricks are among the best (if not THE best) at producing it!

I see Tripper's xmas pic up there and it makes me sad that he's not here to enjoy another one. So here's to absent friends. And new ones, too. Merry Christmas, everyone!

I thought about Tripper when I posted that. Just shows he was loved and will not be forgotten, he had a great mommy and he is now at peace. I think about friends of mine who also became "absent" in 2011 (my lows).

When I saw the postcard it also made me a bit sad. Winston used to enjoy listening to Tripper bark and make noises at him on Skype. Anytime I use Skype even now, Winston sits by me still. I think he misses Tripper too.

If I may join in on the chorus..........here's to absent friends (four legged ones too).
