I picked this up yesterday. I've admired the White Falcons for a few years now.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/120837817956?ss ... 1439.l2649

The gold sparkle binding & gold appointments against the white finish looks soooo cool. Classy & trashy...think I'll name it Liberace!

Well, I was trolling ebay last night & it was only up for less than an hour. BIN seemed resonable...about the same price of a re-issue.

It comes with it's original case...just love when they come with the original case...complete package!

Anyway, it needs a correct Bigsby & bridge.

So, what do you guys think of the guitar, the deal?

I thought these came with the "Cadillac G" tailpiece.

Very nice, Tony. Have you been able to find out the year? Looks like a mid '70s to me.

EDIT: Just read the listing, '75...close.

I think it's AWESOME! USA made Gretsch Falcon :D

I had a late '70's single cut one I sold many years ago and always regretted it. It looks right to me. I don't think they had the Cadillac tail pieces on the '70's versions. Smaller "f" holes, truss rod adjustment at the back neck heel, squared pickguard, classic.

Congratulations 8)

IIRC, Gretsch did it first.
