Ok ....ok.......yes......little girls wept over this song....but the little girls that wept over it when it came out back in the 70s, WELLL.....those little girls are ALL GROWED UP :oops:

It was written about the death of Beach Boy Carl Wilson's Golden Retriever, or maybe Irish Setter... :roll: and if you like the Beach Boys, and are a doggie lover, well....cut me some slack for production at least..... :shock:

Yes...I really do think "MacArthur Park" is a masterpiece...anything written by Jimmy Webb is a masterpiece :D
