The mighty songstress has passed away just one day after the man who "discovered" her, Johnny Otis. Her unique voice and styling were the stuff of legends. RIP, Etta!

This is really sad news. She was one of my favourite female vocalists. Her powerful voice will always be in my memory's store. RIP Etta.
