Dear John Hall, We the Rickfourm family wish for the Big dream to come back true again. In NAMM 2012, you announced that "Ruby" was coming back to a standard color. I was truly amazed by that news. John, can you make our wish come true by bringing back Azureglo,Grayglo,Lightshow,Purpleburst,Sea Foam Green and Turqouise?

Can you make it a standard color?Jetglo,Fireglo,Mableglo and Midnight blue still rocks, but Rickenbacker will be praised more for having outstanding colors for our taste. please John hear our prayers. Amen.

Who's the "we" in all of this anyway? I am quite happy with JG (most of my Ricks are JG) and FG. and a few other nice colours sprinkled in every once in a while.

Im in favor of turqouise, would love a brand new Turqouise bass... although I do love midblu, fireglo, and yes me too am a huge jetglo fan, would buy more Rics if I had other colors to choose from..but thats just me..

Here's an idea ... make a "lightshow" that can change its color into anything we desire at the moment.
I dub thee "Chameleon"

I thought that white-on-white might make an appearance. I'm glad it didn't, because I'd be out a couple of grand! Not to mention having to explain "what's in the box?" to my wife.

I keep thinking 'custom shop' is the answer to many of these requests. I know, Mr. Hall has addressed the myriad of reasons why it's not feasible (all of which make perfect sense), but it seems like a few folks (myself included) want something that's not readily available.
Want a 21 fret neck? '60s headstock? 330 with an F hole? Azureglo with toasters? Man, I'll bet a lot of folks would pony up for a custom order.
Just to be clear, I'm not complaining. I love my Ricks and understand it's economics that preclude a custom shop. This is simply an observation as we have another 'what colour/feature/model would you want?' thread again.
BTW, my favourite Rick is not a factory colour- it's the '69 365 O.S. refinished by our own Paul W. several years ago. The 360/365 O.S. alone as a custom shop item would be very attractive to many.

Well, you can always buy a guitar and send it to one of the folks who refinishes 'em such as Paul W. or Larry Davis. Yeah, it's going to add some cost, but something from a custom shop is generally going to add a fair amount to the price too, even if it's only a custom paint job...

You had your chance with those 5 white 4001C64 basses that POTR had recently.

opps its mapleglo. It's funny that I used to own a mapleglo 4003 and I had mistaken it for "Mableglo". My apologies to all. But all of you get the idea
