Gentleman,
I have a 1973 4001 that I would like to value?
An Ebay search has shown a few, but seeking other opinions.
It has been refinished vintage Fire Glow. Parts replaced would include the pickup (Rick replacement) Sparkle inlays upgrade,
Kluson Goto vintage tuners, original Rick replacement knobs. It also comes with a gig bag.
I know it's not original. But it really looks good. Plays great and sounds great!
What say you all? Fair price would be?
Thanks for your thoughts.

We can not really give any opinions without good photos that show key details.

Also, this is in the wrong section, it should be in the Appraisal section, where the valuation discussions belong.

It is not a large sample. Only 4 instruments.

Clicking on any of these four will give you a value range at the bottom of the entry.

Sample type Min Avg Median Max Sample Size
Same model, same era: $716 $1269 $1300 $2200 10

Welcome to the forum, Thomas. But sorry, buying, selling and appraising of Ricks for members with less than 30 posts is against the forum rules. That's why the Marketplace Section which has the Rickenbacker Appraisals forum is hidden from members with less than 30 posts.
