saw the history of metal episode on how progressive rock affected metal last nite. great show with squire, geddy, hackett, crimson and even a rare apearance of derek schulman , a record executive, who fronted gentle giant, but had no question posed to him on his involvement in prog or how giant may have affected metal ??? (on purpose, perhaps ?)

Not only Derek, his brothers were in GG, as well.

i was meaning he never talks about giant and never partakes of any re-unions with the others. bad taste somewhere. too bad he was a ballsy singer.

interesting to note a lot of these new prog metal bands in this episode are using rick 4001 basses...early '70's older ones.

Sorry I missed this one.
It sounds like it was one I really would have enjoyed too.

Most of these shows end up on Palladia sooner or later.
