Hi all

I took the insides of this, which i picked up the other day randomly and cheaply:



added a switch, and put them into this:



Seems to be working well.

Those DOD Bi-Fet Preamps are great pedals!

aren't they? was really surprised. EIGHT components on a tiny PCB soldered to the back of the pot. All i had to do was insert the pot and find a place to put the switch in the circuit.

Now that's a clever mod. Nicely done.

Would you be willing to show us the routing on the underside, how you wired it?

believe me, you don't want to see the underside. lets just say i squeezed it all in there. i can draw you the routing for the switch, it was simple.

i'll do a video though, i meant to do one ages ago to demonstrate the Firebird p/u that's in the middle

Actually wiring diagrams are worse than chinese for me... a photo of wiring I can figure out how to replicate quite easily. Probably just me again...
