Well, his first one is over and I think it was a real success. He played many songs from his Metrosongs body of work. For me it was neat that I've been to some of the places he sang about.
Jason, I thoroughly enjoyed the concert and you did a fantastic job, even transposing the first song you played on the Bowie 12'er instead of the capo. Great concert and as you said at the end, looking forward to the next one.
Kudos sir!

Thanks guys!
FYI That's not the Bowie, the Bowie is a real '67 366.12. The guitar I played tonight is a '98 360/12v64 that I added a comb assembly to myself. Since now I'm just babysitting the Bowie until I bring it to Scotty, it stays in the case at all times.

When you do a show live, does it stay on the net afterwards?

I don't think so. I did notice a "record" button as I set up last night's show, but I didn't have time to fiddle with it and see what it does. I'll try it for next time.

That would be cool, for those of us who miss the initial spectacle.

Shana could have video taped (flash carded?

) it with a camcorder (do they still make those or is all with DSLRs these days?

)

Jason, can you manage to record these shows and post them to youtube? I'd love to get in on the fun.

I tried the record button, and it said it was recording, but I don't see any way to play it back or view it later. In other words, I'm not sure what it's really doing.

Here is the link to Robert Higgs's band (he's the guy that played a couple songs before I started)

J, there is video (0.28 secs) of your mic check from yesterday. In the playlist area near the bottom of the page.
