Anybody use this pedal? I've played through a POG I, but not the new version. Does it sound good with a rick?

I loved the sounds but I found it sucked my tone big time, so I moved it on.
That could have been more to do with it's interaction with my other pedals than anything else, though I did try it in every different position in the chain.
FYI I use a Vox AC30 on clean setting.
Pedals:- Jangle Box1. Janglebox2. Boss TU3 tuner. Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret Overdrive. Electro Harmonix Worm.
I also use high quality Elixir cables.
The POG II wasn't happy to be a part of this group. :(

With my 620/12, I can sound like a huge organ, especially playing chords. I did the riff from Inna Gadda Da Vida and laughed my butt off! It's a fun and ineresting pedal.

Oh yeah! I can get a great 8 string sound with my 4003.

Wow! never would have guessed the 12 or 8 string combo, as most people I've talked to use them to get a 6 to sound like a 12. The organ thing is also a nice feature and you can get other pretty diverse sounds out of them too (from what I've seen online). Glad to know others also use them with rickenbackers. Totally getting a used POGII when I get my tax returns...

It really nails an 8 string bass sound as the string pairs are all an octave apart. As far as making a 6 string sound like a 12 string, it does that pretty well if you don't play the B or high E because on a 12 strings those string pairs are unison and not octave, so it throws the 12-string emulation off a bit. Having said that, you could look at this as something interesting to experiment with. Overall, I would say the POG II is the most interesting pedal I have bought and it has a lot of potential packed inside.
