Is Trans Green still an option on the 4004?

Just wondering..
I am yet to see a picture of a transgreen 4004 with a 2 piece neck. This may be a good thing as it is I think the only new Rickenbacker that could let the moths out of my wallet, and that is assuming that I could pay for one with moths....
Does anyone have any pics of a recent 4004Cii in green?

emac.

I'm 99% sure I played one at Wildwood a couple of years ago... but I played lots of 4004s there. One of them was purple!

(No I am not on drugs.)

Pm sent Eden!

It might put you on the right track.

Also, didn't we have some posted from the NAMM show?

I don't remember seeing one there; I think the focus was on ruby, and the number of instrument slots is limited; there were two ruby 4004s, so prolly why there were no xgreen 4004s on display.

Search the SERF pics, we had a TG 4004Cii... but that was pre-two-piece necks, I think.

The one I played at Wildwood was also one-piece IIRC. So recent TGs... not sure.

I played one with a one-piece neck at a store last year. Looked pretty nice too. The only problem was that the E string was noticeably weaker than the rest. I have two 4004's myself (a Laredo and a Cii) and neither of them had this problem so I got a bit nervous about purchasing this one until they had a luthier look into it. A few weeks later it was gone so I guess somebody must have not noticed what I did. What I don't care at all about is this new two-piece neck craze going on. I'm perfectly comfortable with old one-piece style and I'm originally a guitarist with average sized hands.

Jason belonged to this one for a while. Shot at SERF:

You may want to check the NAMM picks from last year. I think they have made one for the previous couple of NAMMs. Would 2011 have been the two piece neck?

I'm pretty sure the `11 models had two piece necks.
