Anyone heard of Raven Guitars? Baaad copies.

Post by bitzerguy »

This guy has been advertising on CL and Kijiji for weeks now. At first he called these Rickenbackers, now he has changed his tune to "vintage". These are apparently made here in Canada.

This one is pretty bad, but pretty blatant. Anyone know anything about these?

Used to be Raven and Raven West in the 60s-80s, but they disappeared. It seems they are back now. Either made or imported just for Canada. They sure do look like imports. The buzz is that this Raven is not the same Raven of the 60s-80s.

Disappointing that this type of theft continues.

I've seen so many of those spaghetti TPs that I don't even like real spaghetti anymore. . .

If I see many more awful FG 330 copies, I'm going to start to react negatively to the real thing, just like having seen so many Hondo II Les Paul copies makes me react negatively when I see a real Les Paul. . . .

BLECH!!!!

...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

Sad, but so true.

This turkey even offers a lifetime guarantee. And if you believe that, I have a bridge for sale cheap... PT Barnum was so right...

A pretty nasty piece of wood and an awful waste of other materials.

I have one of those at home branded "Harlem".

I'm just waiting for the right moment to smash the living daylights out of it and set it on fire.

I've got the video camera..... just need an audience!
