I just got a Line 6 G30 wireless system and am really impressed by the sound. I haven't used wireless since 1996, and only went back because I'm tired of falling over my cords. I have to wrap evrything around the backside of my pedalboard around the backside of me and it just got to be a mess. The reciever is the size of a pedal and mounts right to board, and even runs off of one of the 9v outputs coming off of my Voodoo Labs ISO-5 power supply. Anyways, pretty stoked on this unit and was wondering who else is using them.

I don't have any experience actually using it live, but i have gotten to mess with the Line6 one and was really impressed! A good friend with super discerning tastes swears by it. If I were to go wireless it would be my first choice without question. Very cool Mike!

I've been using the G50 model now for almost a year, every weekend live. I love it. I have had no issues with it at all, no interferences, no cutting out, nothing. In fact I swear it actually sounds clearer or maybe fuller than my George L cables. Although, I can match the tone of the cable with the G50 using the frequency filter on the base unit. It is supposed to give you the impression you are playing through a cable (adjustable treble roll-off). It is not bad at all. That being said, I almost always use it with 0 roll-off. It feels a bit like removing a blanket from over the amp.
The G50 transmitter lasts a long time on a set of AAs too. I had tried a very expensive Sennheiser system before looking at the Line6, but realized I would be using a fresh 9V every set. I actually get 2-3 weekends out of the AAs in the G50. I would say that, for the money, I don't see anything else even close to these.
To be honest, I had never liked anything i tried from Line6, and the impression led me to my Vox Valvetronix blue amp in 2003. But the G series wireless and then the M5 caught me by surprise. Both are on my gigging board.

I have a seinnheiser system that I love. Actually adds to my tone. Only problem is the transmitter needs a little fix
that said, seems like the Line 6 product gets raves

Does anyone know of any stereo units so I can run Ric-O-Sound with a single transmitter?

Nope-sorry-but you could get a G30 instead of having to spring for another G50. I love the cable simulator thing, and leave it off as well. The tone is really strong and clear it's unbelievable. I even replaced my Boss TU-2 I've had since the late 90s with a Korg Pitchblack tuner since it's true bypass, and didn't want the buffer in the TU-2 doing anything to the sound. I ordered a canare cable Nuetrik ended patch to go from the guitar to the transmitter to get the best(without the million dollar pricetag)sound transfer I could get.
I have rehearsal next wednsday and a gig the following saturday, so we'll see how it goes!
