It's served me well over the years, but I think it's time to pass this one on to whoever else may be interested in having a great '60s vintage bass in great condition. Financial necessity is part of the incentive for putting this one up for sale, but I also believe that I should be able to play everything I own, and this one just doesn't get played very often. I figure that someone else who is able to put some consistent miles on it should give it a go.

The bass has no issues of concern in integrity or playability. No cracks or damage in the wood, separation of pieces, or rust on any of the hardware or harness. There is a little bit of a worn patch on the back of the body, and a small spot on the front by the tailpiece. There ARE aging crackles in the finish, but personally I like the effect. Most '60s vintage basses have developed these. The bass is completely stock EXCEPT FOR THE FRETBOARD, which has been refretted and refinished. The job was done by Mike Lull (in approx 1995.)
Weighing the bass's solid condition vs natural depreciation & wear, I'd like to see $4,500.00 for it. OHSC included.
For those who haven't heard the bass in action, here are some videos I've shot recently:
