I had a chance to get my Fireglo w/gold Ricks together today for a group photo.
Left to Right: 1989 350 VP, 1990 360 WB VP, 1987 381/12V69, 1990 360/12V64, and 1996 RM 1997 Reissue.
Anyone else like this color combination?

I've always liked that 350. :D The ambering on it is outstandsing. This pic really doesn't do it justice as compared to seeing it in person .

I know what you mean Ken. Here is a closeup of the 350 that shows the finish a little better:

Kevin, you know how I feel about your Ric collection, so I don't need to say anymore. The 381 and 1997 are my favorites, but they all look great. Your 1997 looks eerily like Tom Petty's 1986 model with gold plastics.

Very handsome selection, Kevin. The 1987-90 period was a good one for the Fireglo finish!

I especially like the finish on the 381/12V69 FG 1987, an early year for that reissue. Is there birdseye maple on that one?

Thanks for all of the comments.

Ron, The books state that the 381/12V69 model started in 1988 but this one has a serlal number from November 1987. I think this one may have been made for display at the NAMM show since there is some pretty nice wood and a few birdseyes showing.
