RickResource Forum Joins Facebook
RickResource Forum Joins Facebook
I have decided to launch an Facebook page for the RickResource Forum with the view that this highly popular and most used worldwide social network service may reach more members for the RRF and encourage entries in the Register.
I was amazed to learn that in the past eight years the number of Facebook profiles has grown eight-fold to 800 million.
I know that many RRF members have a Facebook page and I have received numerous requests over the years to join them as friends. Now I am able to do this as I slowly learn about the features Facebook has to offer. The possibility of voice chat (something charter members may recall we experimented with in the early days) real time messaging and an organized historical record of comments are but a few of the many features that the RRF does not offer its members in its current format.
I look forward to exploring the possibilities that Facebook has to offer and hope it provides an added dimension for RRF members in their discussion of all things Rickenbacker and their participation in the RRF Gear/Technical Forums, Multimedia Forums, Band Forums, Music History Interpretation and Pop Culture Forums and Instructional Forums.

Good luck with it, Peter! I'm sure you'll get members past and present on the bandwagon
