Since I saw that colour, it has been driving me nuts !!! Looks so pretty !!!
Anyone ordered one of those beauties ???

Baseplate Jeff?
Do the bridges still bottom out on these? I thought that went away with the Schaller bridges.

Still pondering it. Even talked with Chris a while back about it. I hope... I do hope there is a chance at a Ruby 4004Cii in the next few months. I need to reduce the gear before I acquire another one.

Om by 4004 Cii the E & G strings are as low as they can go. The A & D are raised a bit. It's not a problem with the E & G since any lower and I'd probably be buzzing the frets all over the neck.
I like the bridge on the bass. Looks great and it's a breeze to intonate and set up.
I do really like the ruby color! I'm not in the market for one but if I were, I'd most likely opt for a 4003. Im not a fan of gold hardware. Shocked, I know.

Got a bunch of 4003 Rubies shipping next week. There will also be some Ruby Cheyennes and Laredos out maybe next week.
