Rickenbacker neck question

Doing a set up on my ric 360 should the neck be straight or have a slight bow in it. Gary

Factory advises straight. Aggressive players like a bit of relief, depends on taste. The aim is to get each string to sound out with no buzz of wolf tones.

Gonna put a set of the thomistic invelds on this weekend. The low side of the neck is perfect but the high e side has a slight bow in it . could the neck have a twist in it?

would tightening the truss rod on the treble side be the thing to try and fix this problem, one quarter turn?
