I have tried every 12 string set on the market and finally found a set that i love. I put a set of thomastic invelds on and they are great. The tone is there; the guitar is much easier to play and the feel great. I am sold on these strings. Will never go back to anything else. Forgot to mention they are flatwounds. They are worth a try if you are looking for that vintage sound. WOW. Gary

Exactly the same with my 330/6!

Which pick ups do You use?
I prefer toasters. These work so fine together with the thomastik infeld flats. Perfect vintage sound and absolutely great direct feel while playing! But not a one trick pony, at all - BTW!
Clean it offers a nice, full and warm tone. But not only that. These configarions are very "gainable", too! The full sound distorted (how much You ever want) is a wall!
The rest for the taste You can adjust in very many ways with the guitar's pots and those of the amp!

Yes, THAT is THE reason why I use a Rickenbacker!: This sound through a VOX AC4C1 or an AC30... - Yummy!

The ric 360 has the toaster 7.5 what a great sound thru a fender deluxe. Of course i use a jangle box with it. Dont think it can be beat. Gary

I've had those custom sets of Tomastik Flats from POTR on my 360/12 for about 5 years now and can't praise them enough. Had some Pyramids on there after I first got it and hated the feel and tension. I also tried the Daddario and Ernie Ball sets, but nothing came close to the Tomastiks. I have toasters and a Jangle Box and all of those classic 60s tones are right there anytime I want them. :D
