Looking for a Rickentechie

IE, a guy who can do a great setup and (possibly) swap out pickup. I've never held a soldering iron in my life, and medieval Icelandic would probably be easier for me to read than a wiring diagram!
I live near Burlington, Vermont. Would be willing to travel several hours for a good tech.
Thanks,
John

Ugh. . .
40+ looks and nary a peep. . .
It looks like I might have to venture to
[gulp]
Massachussetts for my tech fixes

I'm sure someone will show up eventually. Too bad you are not in NE Ohio.

I bet there's a good Rick tech in Montreal. Try cross-posting this in the Canadian section. The moderator is a Montrealer and may be able to help you out.

Mouradian Guitar Repair in Winchester Mass (just north of Boston).
Both Jim and his son Jon do amazing work at very reasonable prices. They are usually booked a few weeks in advance.
They have worked on many of my basses (Rickenbackers and others) with great results.
