To all the whiners who complain there are no good deals left...
I just picked up a '73 4001 JG (serial MK #### - no I won't feed your addiction by providing it for the register or any other purpose) for $1150. It has the straightest neck and lowest action of any Rick bass I've played. The electronics are all there and sound great. Someone added a large copper shield on the back, and covered it with a black plastic plate. Pretty good work actually. Nice ambering. Lots of ambering. Tuners changed to W. German Schallers... ok!
Handrest cover missing... ok!
So to ye of little faith who pine for days gone by many moons ago when Ricks sold reeeel cheeeep...

So, if a November '73 for $1150 is reeeel cheeeep, would my December '73 (currently listed for sale in the Marketplace subforum) still be considered even 'kinda' cheeeep at $1250?
