350v63 1st Ric

I just purchased a 350v63 Jetglo. It was a bit of an impulse purchase and I had a few questions.

First of all I see that people have waited years to get these. Did I just get lucky to see one in stock at a store? I purchased it to play and not as an investment; however if I wanted to sell it will it likely go up in value.

I was thinking about doing the volume modification as well as replacing one of the toasters for humbuckers. Is this a good idea.

Also if anyone uses an Egnater Tweaker and has any suggestions for AMP settings it would be appreciated.

What year? The "wait" usually refers to new ones.

Hi and welcome,

I think a picture would help ! You mix up the numbers a little bit. there is no359v63 guitar ! Is your guitar short scale ?
changing pickups is not a good idea if you want to keep it original.

greetings Peter

Sorry. I meant a 350v63. Brand new. It has toasters.

If you plan to swap out the Toaster for an HB-1 (Rickenbacker's humbucker) there shouldn't be a problem since they share the same footprint. You could always re-install the Toaster if you ever decide to sell the guitar. On the other hand, if you like the HB-1 and keep the 350V63 (and why wouldn't you?) you could probably sell the Toaster for more than you paid for the HB-1. Now, if you're talking about a full sized humbucker, well then all bets are off.

The humbucker would be the ones made by Ric.

Here is a pic of my new 350v63. Sitting next to it is the Cobain Inspired Mustang. The Mustang is the guitar I take with me to lessons. The ric stays in my house and in the case when I'm not using it.
