Ric 650 Models
Ric 650 Models
Normally, I'm not inclined to circulate photos of my Ric guitars too widely, but since I have already posted this one on another RRF Forum, I thought it might have wider interest.
The photo shows my collection of all five of the Ric 650 variants, comprising (from the left) 650D Dakota, 650S Sierra, uber-rare 650A Atlantis, 650E Excalibur/Frisco & 650C Colorado. The Mapleglo 650C on the right is a 2008 model and looks somewhat anaemic, as it has not been out of its case much - but will eventually mature to that wonderful honey-gold colour! Truly, one of my favourite Ric models.

Here is my '96 Atlantis at SCARF 2009 at the Yost theatre, Santa Ana. The 650-A is surrounded by Danotron's and my guitars on the display table at the Confluence.

Ken - I like the look with the Toasters ! Cool
What kind of knobs are those with the black centers ? They go very well with the chrome pickguard.

What does it look like when the plate's removed? How big is the hole? Anyone ever mod it to include a blend knob?

I think those are special Reflect-O-Sonic knobs on the guitar.8mileshigher wrote:What kind of knobs are those with the black centers ?

I've posted this before, but you can never have enough pictures of 650s. Kodak P850, ISO100, f2.8, 1/30, hand-held in natural light, on 3/2/06.

I purchased this from krick and then sold this to another forum member about 4.5 years ago. He has since sold this to yet another member contributing to this thread.

Duh, and me, I was Googling "Reflect-o-Sonic" looking for a knob supplier to spiff up my Atlantis !

Send them to me Rich. I have some black Krylon.

For Kevin, Ken and others - a recent photo of your baby, now resident in Ireland (together with its re-issue case):
