Just curious as to the different titles we all have

RRF consultant and other helping hand titles are obvious. What qualifies say an advanced member? and how is that different than a senior member?

Nobody better say senior member means old cuz then I'll change my title to fighting member! :D

Advanced members are really smart, senior members have senior moments, does this help?

In actuality, it is all about post count, and has nothing to do with age, as in, how long one has been a member.

Yep, just the number of posts you've made, unless you've signed up for some other sort of abuse (consultants/moderators) or joined way back when, before most folks knew this site existed (veterans), Maybe those folks were "members" back when it was just a usenet news group, I'm not really sure (I was a lurker back then, didn't participate in much of anything for some weird reason)...

We have titles? Oh yeah those things......... They certainly do not mean anyone is any better or more knowledgeable than anyone else.

They have some significance in a number of ways. In some cases it is all about your post count. For others it may be how long you have been here (RRF veterans) or perhaps your title reflects your professional status as a musician (professional player). In the case of consultants/moderators etc it is more likely that Peter talked you into volunteering your services for some specific duty. :)

I was wondering if I could have a custom title like "Doofus-at-large" or "Talentless Amateur", or "Nuthin' Special".... but then I guess everybody would want one....
