just another newbie....bass arrived yesterday...it has got to be the most beautiful piece of wood and the sound is wonderful...well worth the distress I put my wife through....but hey, it is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission some times

she has many issues with my addictions...she cannot understand why I need another bass when I already have a bass...I had to gently explain that my acoustic bass is DIFFERENT...she didn't buy it...oh well. Thanks for the welcome

Remind her of how many pairs of shoes she has amongst other things that she has a surplus of!
Curtains in the living room? We already have curtains in the bedroom!

never really thought about the plethera of shoes she has....i guess i need to be quicker....afterall...I should get 2 guitars for every 2 of shoes....2 for 2 unless she wants to go bairfoot on one side

Welcome. Oh, and you are doomed!! When I joined here a year ago, I had my P bass and one Rickenbacker. Now I own 6 Rickenbacker's! Everyone here is an enabler, and they'll tell you so up front!

Welcome to this great forum. I have to keep telling myself, one Rickenbacker bass is enough but as soon as I check in here I want more. I keep looking for a 4001S. Find it and then convince myself not to buy it. Don't know how long I can last like that.
