Janglebox Question

I recently sold my McGuinn 370-12 to cover moving expenses for family reasons. I purchased a new Jetglo 370-12 which has been a bit of a blessing. I know it sounds strange, but I played the McGuinn very little because it was in such great shape that I was alway fearful of dings, dents, etc, lowering the value. I am playing my Jetglo all the time, but I miss the wonderful tone of the McGuinn, especially that throaty sound of the lower strings (my new Jetglo sounds very 'tinny'). Is Janglebox able to really pick up that McGuinn sound and tone?

Steve ---- there are probably half a dozen threads here on the RRF related to Jangleboxes and many testimonials and recommendations from fellow Forum members. Check these threads out .... under JB or Jangle Box or JB2 names

As 8mileshigher says there are lots of threads, but I can testify that the Janglebox certainly adds a great colour to the tone of a Rickenbacker - got to be worth a go, and if you don't like it they have pretty good resale values anyway, so a fairly cheap experiment.

Cheers
Tim

The Janglebox does more than enough for me, and satisfies a good majority of this forum, too.

I do hope to get a 360/12 Carl Wilson one of these days, because that a Janglebox will get the ultimate McGuinn tone for me.
