Found an Early Spanish Electro 4-string. Should I buy it?

Hi Guys,

I stumbled across what appears to be a very early Spanish Electro Model B 4-string

It has 1 knob on it and no vibrola. Comes in the original case. The owner claims its a 34' (I was thinking 35') and all-original.

Any ideas on what fair market value would be? I'm thinking about trying to snag it today if the price is right... only problem is I'm not sure what a fair price is!

The seller seems pretty firm on his price of $1600

Also, how rare are these?

Any help of feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much.

Sorry in advance for the bad cell phone pic:

It's later than 1934, but I have never seen a bakelite Tenor before!

Welcome to the RRF Paul. I would think that you would get a better response in the Rickenbacker Steels section.
