1968 RICK 365 (with tremelo) questions

I just purchased (awaiting shipment) this vintage RICK on eBay. I was wondering what some of the differences are between this vintage RICK and a modern RICK 365, other than the obvious ones like crushed pearl neck inlays, checkered binding and small headstock.

Is the trussrod system on the '68 different? Are vintage 365's lighter in overall weight? Is the neck radius different? Do 1968 Toasters sound different than modern Toasters? How about the electronics? What maintenance issues should I be aware of?

Any feedback would be much appreciated.......regards......Ron

Yes.

Vintage ones are considerably lighter due their being true hollowbody instruments with an X brace instead of the modern center block. The neck will be really thin front to back 8), the toasters jangle more 8), you will love it! :D

The vintage truss rods work differently but once you learn how to adjust them properly, you will probably never have to adjust them again once you have the guitar set up.

The biggest problem you'll have is that you'll only want vintage Ricks now!
