Sorry if this has been asked before, but do all toasters, guitar and Bass, have 6 pole pieces?
If so, I've been done with a fake 73. It as 4 poles out the bottom with one large magnet across all. Measures 7.3 ohm.
I'll take a pic on the weekend

The bass and guitar toasters are functionally identical (mounting holes are the one difference) and have six pole pieces, each of which is a magnet. The item you describe is either a copy or a Rickenbacker Higain pickup modified to take a toaster cover. The higain has a single "large" rubberised bar magnet on the bottom and four pole pieces.

and the faker ones usually have a hard ceramic magnet of twice the size of a rick higain neck rubber mag.
