So today call my local guitar store here in Ontario and find out a 2012 4003 Fireglo came into their Calgary store yesterday. Just opened out of the box today. Hummed and hawed then damn it I bought it. 3-5 days it will be here in my hands. Well this will be a nice addition to my 2011 4003 Jetglo

Considering how infrequently Rickenbacker basses come to retailers in Ontario and Calgary, I think you did the right thing. You did good to find that one. Is this the L&M store we're talking about?

Congrats on another Canadian RIC! (Lots of them on craigslist in Ontario this month - including that lovely 75th DCM 4003 in Ottawa)

Brian thnx. I see quite a few on Kijiji also and the 75th in Ottawa absolutely gorgeous but can't afford that at this time. Some of the others however, questionable about their price.

Good deals are out there.... I scored my 79 JG 4001 on Kijiji for $1050... Just have to keep watching them... A nice new JG 330 for $1200 right now...
