I have a guitar with a headstock repair. It is just a structural repair so up close you can see the crack. The white is the undercoat where the paint was chipped by the crack. The finish is "Red Metallic" so maybe it is hard to match. Can this be "touched up" or should I just leave it as is.I don't want to make it look worse, lol.

Metallic red? Anything you do short of a re-finish will only call attention to the repair. If it's a stable repair I would just leave it as is until I saved up for a re-fin.

I always liked the Gibson "big block" inlays like on my SG Custom. That's a swell guitar. 8) What year is it?

Cool beans! At that price you could justify a re-fin. 8)
