Also, why on earth would someone want to do this to a vintage telecaster?

"1968 Fender Paisley Tele - Complete Guitar Restoration

Stripped off old wallpaper and replace with original Borden company wallpaper. Installed B and E Bender. New metallic sunburst, custom plexiglass back-plate. Complete guitar setup."

The word "non-invasive" definitely does not come to mind here. That's a mod to end all mods.

Is that a "B" bender? If it is I never realized it took up that much real-estate!

B must stand for " Borg" in this case. The combination of the femme color, paisley graphics and all of that angular stainless steel junkyard set into the back is most disturbing. Like orthopedic surgery half done...

Kenny--This has been a huge (and interesting, in my opinion) topic on the TDPRI forum for years. Here's an example:

I'm lucky enough to have a pink paisley reissue from the 80's, and it's been a great guitar! I'd love to find one of the paisley P-basses too!

BTW--I saw not too long ago the 12-string Rick bass you had constructed. Have you seen the one-off Gretsch White Falcon bass for Tom Petersson of Cheap Trick?

I haven't seen or played Tom's White Falcon yet, but it appears to be pretty hot.

If He was gonna do that to a Vintage original Paisley tele, why didn't he just acquire another Vintage stripped fender body or AllParts or something and do that??? Incredibly stupid if you ask me....Hell...I'd Love to see a RM1999 done in Paisley
