I am honored to be sitting in on bass* with THE SMITHEREENS at the Closing Night of NYC's famous Kenny's Castaways on Monday, October 1st (a week from tonight)! Come rock out for what will certainly be the event of a lifetime!!!

Dude! Did we talk at all? It was a nutty night so if you introduced yourself I had a mental block that you were you.

Yeah it was crazy. We didn't get a chance to talk. I wanted to speak with Pat as well as I was recalling a gig my band played with the Smithereens back in the early 80's. It might have been at Kenny's but, I can't remember.

In my opinion, closing Kenny's Castaways is like the West Side equivalent of closing CBGBs. The new owners will have a music venue there but, no way it's even close to being the same.
