Gigs this month which I know my Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers tribute band, Full Moon Fever, will be playing.

Gig 1:
The St. Isadore gourmet food truck stop on Katella Ave in Los Alamitos, CA this Thursday October 11, starting about 6:30 PM. There is no cost, except if you'd like to buy food from the gourmet food trucks, which are there every Thursday night, help to benefit St. Isidore's Historical Plaza.

Gig 2:
The Wings, Wheels and Rotors Expo at the Army Airfield in Los Alamitos, CA. Sunday, October 28.
I think we go on between 1 and 1:30 PM and play until about 3:30.

Joey, aren't Full Moon Fever also playing in San Pedro one of these upcoming Saturdays. too ?

I see a Los Alamitos trend here; I think you're booking these Los Al shows just to taunt Collin W.

I'll try to be there Thursday; I'll buy your gourmet whatever you like; it'll be dinner time. Finger foods are probably a bad idea since you're playing. . . .unless its greasy chicken and you're going Jaco style.

Rich: You have a good memory! I wish the guy that booked us at the The Warner Grand Theatre had a good memory. The gig was supposed to be this Saturday, but it got moved the the same night that Dirty Bison is to play at a private function because he double booked this Saturday. You have no idea how this burns my undies! Luckily for me and the Bison, Scott J will fill in for me.

Paulie: It's good stuff from the food trucks It's a very popular Thursday food stop. Just ask Rich! Now I hope it doesn't rain Thursday or most of the people will just be coming for the food and leaving. Besides, I don't want any of my gear getting wet!

Because of where we practice, we have an excellent rep who is very involved with Los Alamitos functions.

Let me know when the San Pedro gig is/will be ...... as its in the neighborhood

That St. Isidore's in Los Al is a nice little outdoor place for an early evening gig after work. The food they serve is decent and the folks there are real friendly. I've got a conflict on the Thursday calendar this week.... so don't think I can make it. Of bigger concern is the high probability of rain on Thursday -- unless Jackie Johnson is going to work a miracle for your band

I have the feeling the gig tonight will be cancel due to weather. St Isadore's plaza is not set up to shelter people from rain.
Seems it never rains in Southern California...unless I gave a gig outdoors!
Here's a link if some other bands are interested in playing there or any anybody wants to check out the food, beer and wine court . It's not the greatest setting as far as a backdrop is concerned, but it is fun with a ready made friendly audience, good food, beer and wine.

Between the maze I had to navigate on bass, and FMF getting cut off early, I missed the band's performance.

Don't feel bad, Paulie. The guy in charge of coordinating the time slots of the bands really botched it all up!

Our next gig is this Saturday night Nov 3, at The Warner Grand Theater in San Pedro.
